These terms govern your use of Crate Dog, operated by Raphael Gal (the seller). By using the service, you agree to these terms.
Who you are contracting with
Crate Dog is owned and operated by Raphael Gal, an individual seller. Throughout these terms, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Raphael Gal, and “you” refers to the person using the service.
Acceptance
By creating an account, accessing, or continuing to use the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Use of the service
Crate Dog helps DJs plan sets, save track ideas, and discover music using AI-assisted recommendations. You are responsible for how you use the information and recommendations provided by the app, including verifying licensing rights for any track you play publicly.
Accounts
You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
Free and paid plans
Free plan limits include saved sets, track pool entries, followed DJs, and monthly AI searches. Paid (Pro) plan benefits apply only while your subscription remains active and in good standing. If your subscription ends, your account returns to Free plan limits — see the section on plan changes below.
Payments and billing (Merchant of Record)
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Subscription terms (price, billing cycle, taxes, cancellations, refunds, and payment method updates) are governed by Paddle’s Buyer Terms (https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms) in addition to these terms.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, including: unlawful or fraudulent use, attempts to bypass plan limits, reverse engineering, scraping at unreasonable volume, interfering with security or availability, infringing intellectual property, or using the service to distribute malware or spam.
AI-generated recommendations
Crate Dog uses AI models to generate track recommendations and suggestions based on your prompts and selections. AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or include tracks that no longer exist or are not available in your region.
You are responsible for verifying any track suggestion before relying on it for a paid gig, public performance, or commercial use. AI recommendations are not professional advice. Do not submit sensitive personal information in AI prompts.
Music data and third-party services
Track metadata, previews, links, and recommendations may come from third-party services (Spotify, SoundCloud, Bandcamp, Beatport, and others). We do not control those services and cannot guarantee availability, accuracy, licensing status, or continued access.
Intellectual property
Crate Dog, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by Raphael Gal. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within your selected plan. You may not resell, redistribute, or create derivative works from the service.
Plan changes, cancellation, and termination
You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future billing and your Pro features remain active until the end of your current billing period, after which your account returns to Free plan limits.
If your subscription is canceled or downgraded, content beyond Free plan limits (such as additional saved sets) may be hidden from view but is not deleted. Restoring Pro will restore access to that content.
We may suspend or terminate accounts for: material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated/serious policy violations.
Changes and availability
We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service as the product evolves. We will try to avoid disruption, but the service is provided “as is” and continuous availability is not guaranteed.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crate Dog is provided without warranties of any kind, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses (including lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill) arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the updated terms.
